How MRVS Has Adapted to COVID-19

During the COVID-19 Stay Home Order MRVS is considered an essential business. We are still here for you and your pets! Please see our updated hours below. During this uncertain time, contact us for how we have adapted to ensure your pets needs can continue to be provided with the same care and quality. You can also sign up for our newsletter or like us on Facebook to stay updated. We are here to help however we can.

Dear Clients,

As you are aware the state of California is on a Mandatory Stay Home Order.   In order to maintain state compliance with safe distancing during this period we continue to adapt to fulfill the needs of our clients and their pets:

In the interest of safety for our clients staff and your pets, MRVS will continue to only examine animals for essential needs onsite:
Animals which are ill or injured
Young puppies needing their vaccines and boosters fall into this category.

If you or your pet have any medical needs that are not considered ill or injured.  Please do not hesitate to contact us for further instructions on how we can help while still maintaining compliant.

We have adjusted our business hours to 8am-5pm and will no longer be open on Saturdays due to having limited essential staff.

We encourage you to contact us for further guidelines via facebook or sign up for our newsletter to stay connected and informed.

You can even email our hospital manager at [email protected] with any concerns.

For immediate medical concerns please call us at 209-727-3663.

During scheduled essential visits:

At this time we are requesting clients to remain in their car to have minimal human exposure. Patients will be escorted indoors by essential staff.
We will have dedicated phone lines for doctor client discussions while your pet is assessed.
Payments will be obtained from the car or by phone.
Non-essential appointments will be rescheduled for June.  In the event this changes, we will contact owners sooner if appropriate.

We have already instituted phone consultations for rechecks of ongoing medical problems if appropriate, and are in the process of more telemedicine options.

Also a reminder to utilize our website for a link to our online pharmacy for deliverable medications and prescription pet foods or give us a call for no contact refill pick ups.

We are here if you need us. We will continue to adapt to be available for you and your pets care.
Stay at home but stay connected.
Wash your hands.
Use social distancing.
Be safe.
