Hayden Webster BVSc.
I have been a member of the Lodi community since 2011. I am a South African born Kiwi vet who has somehow ended up “Stuck in Lodi”!
After graduating in 2006 with a Veterinary Degree from Massey University Veterinary School in New Zealand, I worked as a mixed animal veterinarian in New Zealand for 18 months and in 2008 moved to the US to be with my then fiance Alicia (Also Dr. Webster!). I completed a 2-year Masters of Veterinary Science-focused on Animal Welfare-at the University of Illinois.
After a short stint in rural Montana, we moved to sunny California in early 2011 and have made Lodi our home ever since. Our family has grown to include three little boys and a bunch of critters.
My background is as a mixed animal practitioner, experienced in both production and companion animal medicine and surgery. Since 2011 I have focused on companion animal medicine and have a special interest in soft tissue surgery and diagnostic ultrasound.
From 2011 until now, I have worked in Lockeford, Lathrop and Elk Grove; I am ecstatic to finally be based at home in Lodi. This hospital has such a dedicated, positive staff and Dr. Klapstein and Dr. Valinoti has built a hospital with an outstanding reputation for quality medicine/surgery and compassionate care.
I am excited to re-connect with old clients and meet new faces-people and animals alike. Providing quality medicine and a positive experience for all is something I am very excited about!
Come in for a check-up or just to say hi. I look forward to meeting you all!
Dr. Beth Klapstein
My life has always been devoted to animals. I know of no better way to help them than to be a veterinarian. The bonus is that it’s the nicest people who have pets. Being a veterinarian is a great way of life. My first goal is that my patients are comfortable, this not only benefits the pet but also allows for a better evaluation. Then we can best address the needs of the pet and the concerns of the client. My husband Tom and I have been married for over 3 years. We have one son, Tommy who lives in San Francisco. My cats Bibs, Lucy, Boog and Striper round up the household. I also have 3 sisters and 2 brothers scattered around the country. A philosophy that I live by ‘expect the best but be prepared for the worst. you often get what you expect’.
Dr. Debbie Cousyn

After working in various small animals clinics, Dr. Cousyn owned and operated a successful Stockton small animal practice for 7 years until she and her husband adopted 2 daughters and sold the practice. As the girls grew, she worked part-time at local clinics and joined MRVS in 2007, where her primary interest has been soft tissue surgery. Her goal with each patient is to provide the best possible care and to ensure good communication with owner regarding their pet’s care. Dr. Cousyn lives with her husband, 3 cats, 4 dogs, sheep, goats and chickens. Their daughters are now in college. her hobbies include gardening and hiking.
